Biography of Andy Abraham

Binman Andy Abraham is a 41 year old family man. He currently lives in London with his wife Denise and two kids 10-year-old Tara and Jacob, eight.

Singing hasn’t always been his only dream though, as a school boy Andy fantasised about being a famous footballer or singer. It looks like at least one of those dreams is about to come true!

Andy is no stranger to singing and recording. In 2001, Andy appeared in and came second on the ITV1 talent show This Is My Moment, hosted by former Spice Girl Mel B. He also sang as backing singer for fellow contestant Brenda Edwards a few years ago.

UPDATE
Andy made it to the final of the X factor 2005 and came second place to Shayne Ward. On the night he sang O Holy Night, Mrs Jones and When a Man Loves A Woman .

I am a songwriter from Kent and have been following the x-factor with interest. Andy has a fantastic voice and I have written a song that would especially suit his style of singing. I have recently written and produced a C.D for the BBC Children In Need and have also done other C.D`S.

I do hope Andy sees this message and contact me as soon as possible (his contract allowing) for further details.

    Hi there
I am a big fan of Andy, and years ago heard a track by a Walter Jackson, called ‘I won’t remember ever loving you’. It’s the saddest song, and my memory of it was jogged by Andys voice, as it needs that heartfelt way he sings to do it justice. Andy, if you read this PLEASE have a listen. You should have won the contest, but you are already a winner in life.

i think its pathetic that the only album andy can release is a copy of other peoples songs, it only goes to show how completely sad this country and the music culture has become.

    Hi Andy

I think you are great, your concert in Worthing was brilliant, and I hope it wont be too long before you do another in this area. You have so much energy, and you are really talented to be able to write your own songs. The song that you wrote for your mother is truly wonderful, I wish you would bring it out on a single, because it will touch everyone’s heart, afterall, we have all lost a dear one, I am sure it would get to number one in the charts. Keep writing and keep singing. Wishing you and your lovely family every success.
