Biography Of Debbie McGee

Wikipedia Reports

Debbie McGee (b. October 31, 1958) is the wife (and assistant) of magician Paul Daniels. She was born in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, and trained at the Royal Ballet School. Following her ballet training, McGee joined Dougie Squires’ Second Generation troupe as a dancer.

McGee met Paul Daniels whilst working with him during his summer show in Great Yarmouth in 1979. They married in 1988, and she has since worked with him as his assistant both on television and stage. In recent years, McGee has performed some magic herself.

In addition to her TV work, McGee has also had a very small part in the 1981 film The French Lieutenant’s Woman, where she played a prostitute.

In 2000 McGee set up Ballet Imaginaire to produce ballet shows and tour them around the country, but ticket sales were reportedly poor.

In October 2004, she appeared on The Farm, a Channel 5 version of the RTE show Celebrity Farm.
