Breaking News! Frankie Cocozza thrown off The X Factor! OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED
Frankie Cocozza has been sensationally axed from The X Factor it has been revealed.
The teenage singer is said to have been asked to leave the contestants’ house in Hertfordshire this morning, after breaking what The Sun is calling a producers ‘golden rule.’
The newspaper claims that Frankie was called into a meeting and kicked off the show earlier today and though his misdemeanor has not yet been revealed, there are some whisperings on Twitter that his rule breaking was drugs related.
On being booted off Cocozza said:
“My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules.”
“I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving. Thanks to everyone who has supported me.”
An X Factor spokesperson said: “Frankie is leaving the show today after breaking competition rules. He is going to take some time out before continuing his career as a singer. We wish him all the best for his future.”

The Brighton lad has not been out of the headlines this week and most of them have been pretty negative. He survived the double elimination on Sunday but has become the subject of an OFCOM investigation, because of his swearing on a live show. Some viewers also complained that ITV were glorifying binge drinking by showing multiple clips of him partying with friends.
It was also reported today that the 18 year old singer was considering quitting on Sunday, because of the negative attention he was getting on Twitter and Louis Walsh’s harsh comments to him on Saturday’s live show. However his mentor, Gary Barlow talked him into staying.
Gary was the only judge with three acts left in the competition, so we’re sure Frankie’s dismissal will sting, but hopefully in the long term it will make his job easier and bring the X Factor back to what it’s all supposed to be about….the talent.
The team have been left with a bit of a problem on Frankie’s dismissal as they now have more live shows than contestants. Some people have suggested that they bring back Johnny Robinson and we have lined up all the alternatives here.

best news ive heard today he should never have got to live shows in the first place,,its a disgrace hes a disgrace,, im glad to see the back of him hes completely without any talent whatsoever,,
Thank goodness for that. Just a great pity that they didn’t get rid of him before the weekend so that Johnny might still be there. I’m really going to miss the entertainment factor Johnny Robinson brought to the programme.

This is good News! Frankie was out of control and could not sing a note. My wish would be that the Risk are somehow voted back into the competition, and The Risk fans dont continue to be complacient that they are safe and VOTE
You have no idea how happy I am that Frankie is now out. He shouldn’t have been there in the first place. I just hope to God that it’s possible for The Risk to get back in the competition cos they deserve to be there and quite frankly I thought they’d win this year’s x-factor.

The inevitable happened – Gary should be proud of fostering and defending a total clown. Not sure of what they should do – in fairness the Risk went out on lowest public vote so should really be Johnny back in if they do bring back a contestant and given Ashford ( is that Risk’s new guy? ) been booted out at least 3 times now ( solo and two groups ) not sure if that is fair to Johnny, Sophie and others who have gone before.
The first 4 eliminated acts (ie by the judges) should get a chance to win a spot back in the competition based on public vote (2 shoes, Amelia, Jonjo and the other dude)

Frankie was the only one with real talent and whose singing was getting better with every weeks performance.

probably cause the blonde one was pregnant. shes still working gigging and never a complaint to be heard. they should be given a chance along with the other 3 thrown of by the judges. if the risk go back in thats not fair at all, shpuld be johnny before them if public vote or let public decide which of the 4 dropped by judges goes back in
FINALLY!!!! but im sorry i have to disagree about the risk if they get back in the competiton ill feel cheated and probs never watch the show anymore they got as far as how many votes they were getting. The Risk just wernt as liked as wht people thought!
Every one is going on about Frankie should of been voted off weeks ago, but it was the public who voted him in. Never the less I am glad he is out now as it will mean the competition will be more serious and we will see talent prevail. Craig, Marcus and Mesha hopefully will get the attention they deserve. If they bring anyone back to replace Frankie it should be either Johnny or The Risk.
