It’s reported in The Mirror today that Brenda Edwards, the last female to leave the X factor show believes that she was voted off the show because most of the shows fans are women who prefer “cute young guys”.

The mother of two said “It’s definitely to do with there being so many women fans. You have a lot of cute young guys and they are far more likely to be voted for. That’s just the way it is so I wasn’t surprised I went out.”

But hopefully this isn’t the last we will hear of the soul singing diva, she commented : “I hope to release a record. Now I’ve had a taste of fame, I want more. Sharon is absolutely lovely and has promised me things.”
