Brian Friedman: ‘X Factor is not Cheryl Cole’s competition!’
X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has said that it doesn’t matter if Cheryl Cole mimes on Sunday night’s X Factor, as this is not her competition.
He told Radio One Newsbeat: “I have not heard that Cheryl’s pre-recording.
“I can only compare this to other performers out there; Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Britney Spears. They’ve all mimed at award shows and other various occasions.
“This is not Cheryl’s competition. She’s already competed in one before on TV, she’s proven herself as an artist so I don’t think it would really matter.”

It does matter she should be setting an example. If she does not want to perform live because she is nervous and has been singing for years how does she expect the other acts to do it without the experience. If she mimes it will take away her creditability how can she sit there and be critical of the acts if she is unwilling to sing live herself.
