Former x Factor USA judge Britney Spears is set to make her way across to pond to have a chat with the UK’s chattiest man, Alan Carr in the next few weeks.
Nobody needs to tell Britney to Work Bitch as it looks like she is set for world domination once again with her new single and album release.
Brit will promote her forthcoming eighth studio album on the Friday night chat show when she appears in a couple of weeks’ time.
The news was confirmed on Twitter last night by the singer, in which she wrote: “Making a trip across the pond in a few weeks to see @chattyman and all my lovely UK fans…can’t wait! xo.”
Britney’s eighth studio album, which doesn’t have a name yet, is set to be released in December. She also has a two-year stint at Planet Hollwood in Las Vegas penned in as well.
Replying to a fan on the social networking website, the 31-year-old tweeted: “So missing all the tweeps across the pond too!!!”.
Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake took it upon himself to have a very sly dig at his ex-girlfriend over the weekend at the iHeartRadio festival in Los Angeles.
Timberlake was performing his sit single ‘Cry Me A River’ in which he switched up some of the lyrics to have a stab at poor ol’ Britney Spears.
A lyric in the song reads: “Don’t it make you sad about it?” but Timberlake changed up the lyrics to “B*tch, why don’t you cry about it?”
It was revealed way back in 2011 that the song was originally written about Timberlake’s break-up with Britney so the knife in the back is clearly aimed at her.
Why do you think it has taken SO long for Timberlake to decide to switch the lyrics up? Also, are you happy that Britney will be making her way over to the UK?
