Rumours are circulating once more that pop princess, Britney Spears, has been lined up for an appearance on one of this years X Factor live shows.

Reports say the pop princess will perform her new single Womanizer on the ITV show in December.

‘Everyone is thrilled. To have Britney is a massive coup,’ said a TV source to The Sun.

‘They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs.’

This time last year I would have been worried by the prospect of Britney Spears performing on such a popualr show, but after seeing her stint on last weeks MTV Video Music Awards, I really think that Britney has turned a corner and might just be ready to get her career back on track.
