I watched the Paul OGrady show this evening on Channel 4, on which Louis Walsh made an appearance to try to plug Celebrity X Factor which starts next week.

When asked about the celebrity contestants, Louis told Paul OGrady that although the stars had been chosen, and are in training, he and the other judges had been given no clues to their identities. He sounded almost excited at the prospect of finding out who would be taking part.

Two minutes later and he lets slip that Paul Daniels and Debbie Magee will be taking part, along with Chris Moyles (who he would like to get in his category).

Either Louis is trying to throw us off the scent, and disguise the real participant’s identities, or he just slipped up big time. I prefer option two. Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne no doubt are fully aware who will be taking part in Celebrity X factor which starts in just over a weeks time. I can’t see Simon not having a say in who takes part and who doesn’t.
