Biography of Chenai Zinyuku
Chenai was born and raised in her current home town of Bradford on the 1st of June 1986, making her 19 years of age.
Chenai’s dad is from Zimbabwe and her mother is English, Chenai lives with her mother and three half brothers.
Chenai’s love of music and singing started at a very young age and she lists her biggest influences as Betty Wright, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Funky House.
Chenai entered The X Factor last year and made it as far as Sharons bootcamp before getting sent home in tears. This year however all three judges were in agreement that Chenai had improved massively in the last 12 months and she breezed through the early stages of the competition before being chosen by Louis Walsh to be one of his four acts to compete in the live finals.
