Another day, another celebrity sex scandal and this looks like one that will run and run. After seemingly keeping out of trouble for the last two years, Ashely Cole was embroiled in another lewd expose today and sources suggest that the revelations have been the final straw for his wife Cheryl.

Jonny Ikon reports that the gorgeous X Factor judge has holed herself up in a London hotel, in a bid to avoid the marital home in Surrey and that the ‘A’ list couple have agreed to go their separate ways this August.

A source told Jonny: “There’s no reason she couldn’t easily commute back out to the marital home in Surrey. Everybody knows this is what she did when she found out he had cheated last time.”

He continued: “It’s been really bad for a very long time, but I think they plan to last until the summer and get through the World Cup together. They’ll probably announce that they’ve split when they both get a break in August, after the football and before Cheryl starts shooting live shows for ‘X Factor’ this September.”

If this rumour is true, we think that Cheryl will follow Simon Cowell to America for his new X Factor series, as long as her mum goes too of course!
