Cheryl Cole has pulled out of a planned appearance on the Jonathan Ross show this Friday night.

The X Factor judge has cited a case of bronchitis as the reason for canceling, but we think it has more to do with the fact that Charlotte Church had been booked for the same show.

Cheryl was due to perform her new single Parachute on the show, which is recorded today but a spokesman for the star confirmed to The Daily Mail that ‘Cheryl Cole has been forced to postpone all promotional activity this week upon medical advice after contracting bronchitis.’
