Heartbroken Cheryl Cole has canceled a planned appearance on Jonathan Ross’ chat show, telling him that she is just too raw.

The X Factor judge had been booked for the show before she split from her cheating husband Ashley Cole, but has now let the BBC down by telling them that she may only perform new single, Parachute, next month.

In a statement last night her official spokesman said:” Cheryl will no longer be appearing on Jonathan Ross for interview. It is possible she may still perform her new single.”

A source told The Daily Star: “Cheryl was booked to go on Jonathan Ross weeks before Ashley’s exploits hit the headlines.

“She was expecting to talk about how successful her solo career has been, her plans to conquer America and her plan to start a family with Ashley.

“But all that has changed now. She knows Jonathan won’t be doing his job if he doesn’t concentrate on her marriage breakdown and Ashley’s cheating so she’s not going to talk at all.

“Cheryl’s incredibly tough but even she’s not sure she’s up to an interrogation like that just yet.”
