Cheryl Cole is so upset at her recent marriage breakdown, that she doesn’t even want her beloved mum around.

Cheryl’s mum Joan lived with her and Ashley and has always been the person that the X Factor judge turns to in times of crisis. However, at the minute Cheryl just wants to work through her distress alone.

A friend told The Mirror: “She is absolutely devastated and exceedingly down. She’s canceled a week’s worth of European promotion to try and sort her head out. She wants to be on her own.

“She didn’t even want her mum with her. Cheryl spends her life surrounded by people and, for once, she just wants time out.”
