Cheryl Cole Going Solo
The career of Cheryl Cole is going from strength to strength as a Girls Aloud source reveals that she is about to record some solo material.
Cheryl became one of Britain’s most popular women when she debuted as a judge on X Factor last year, she has since topped many polls and is thought to be seeking a career in America.
A Girls Aloud source said the group would “take time out” this year to work on solo projects from “music to acting to beauty to fashion”.
“Cheryl is going to work on some solo music – there is no release date set for this yet as she has not recorded any music,” the spokesman said.
“Her A&R people have approached various producers with the view to working with her.
“Until she has recorded music, we can’t say who will be working on the record as we can’t say at this stage what will make it past the idea stage,” he added.
Meanwhile, rising electro-pop star FrankMusik has claimed on micro-blogging site Twitter: “I am producing Cheryl Cole’s solo album.”
So does this spell the end for Girls Aloud? I think it’s about time, don’t you?

I don’t really think this spells they end. They are currently touring. And I hope it dosent as I have only just started to like them. :p

It has been well known for months now that Girls Aloud are all going to do different things, singing, acting, beauty it is not anything new. Sarah Harding has been working on a solo album, Nadine has been looking at working in America, until Ashley started to act like a p**t Cheryl was going to start a family during their break. If there solo careers are successful I cannot see them getting back together, I think the only reason they will not say they are splitting is so that if their solo careers fail they still have the group as before they said this was going to be their final tour. They have had a far longer career than they deserved anyway.
