Cheryl Cole shows her romantic side on this tomorrow night’s X Factor series, when she reunites a bickering couple.

Cheryl goes out of her way to help singing duo, Kirsty and Jack when they reveal that they broke up two weeks earlier due to a row about washing up and nights out.

The couple, who call themselves Combined Effort sang Starship’s Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now, however Jack forgot his words and had to helped along by his ex, Kirsty.

Cheryl then told Jack: “I think she still loves you, you know Jack.” And Simon Cowell tells him: “I think you should ask Kirsty back out.”

The couple made up on the stage in front of the crowd.

A source added: “It was a tender moment. Everyone cheered.

“Cheryl wasn’t taking no for an answer and the pair looked genuinely relieved to be back together. It looked like no one wanted to make the first move – it was all down to Cheryl.”
