Simon Cowell is in the process of setting up a new global entertainment company with Phillip Green and is rumoured to be recruiting his profile stars to help front the operation.

The company is expected to incorporate some of Cowell’s shows such as The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, as well as other showbiz and fashion projects.

The Daily Express reports that in addition to Kate Moss, Cowell has also asked Cheryl Cole to join the crew.

A source revealed: “[Cheryl's] flown to LA to source and research different elements that Simon wants her to be involved in – producing, recording, spotting new bands and acting.

“Cheryl will be Cowell’s figurehead and style-setter – a more wholesome, girl-next-door image than Green’s Kate – and therefore a perfect balance for the company. Everyone loves Cheryl, she’s a marketing man’s dream.”
