The X Factor hit Glasgow this afternoon, as the trusty panel of judges prepared themselves for a day of being deafened by hopeless wannabes.

Joining Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh at the venue, was former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, who will be replacing pregnant judge Dannii Minogue for the day.

As usual Cheryl Cole (Glamour’s new Woman Of The Year!) glammed things up in a short leopard print gown, but keen to avoid a ‘dress off’ between her and the much younger singer, Geri opted for the more casual look, donning just a pair of skinny jeans and a white strappy top. She still looked really fresh faced and pretty, which is more than we can say for Irish judge Louis Walsh. He decided to go all Jedward on us and sported a ridiculous spiky hairdo for the occasion. Does the man realise what age he is?
