Sources have claimed that after refusing to take his earlier phone calls, X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has started texting her husband Ashley.

The football star was caught up in a sex text scandal last week, when he was accused of sending naked pictures of himself to two different women, one of whom claimed that she also slept with the hunk.

Cheryl fled the family home and is currently in LA and The Sun reports that Ashely bombarded her with texts yesterday in which he “begged” her not to divorce him.

A source told the newspaper: “[Cheryl] has started replying to Ashley’s texts and although she is frosty with him, she has accepted a line of communication.

“He is begging like a puppy. In the past that has meant things are going to work themselves out. Or, in plain terms, Cheryl is preparing to forgive.”
