Cheryl Cole has admitted that she may not return as a judge on next year’s X Factor series.

At today’s X Factor press conference, the Girls Aloud singer admitted that she may want to take some time out and concentrate on her family.

Cole said that after X Factor ends this week she would take a ‘few months to decide’ her future on the show.

She said that her decision will have ‘nothing to do with money’ but insisted she wanted ‘time off with the family, the dogs and just rest I suppose’.

She also joked with Simon Cowell that she will wait ‘to see if he is on his best behaviour’ before she makes any decisions.
