We thought Cheryl Cole was still in LA, but apparently that paparazzi ban is doing it’s job, because last night her US management team tweeted out a picture, which revealed that the former X Factor judge is actually living it up in France.

The ‘Promise This’ hitmaker was pictured enjoying herself in Cannes, alongside her new manager and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am and alongside the photo read the caption:

“Its me and the “tweety nird” in canne france..me & cheryl cole in the south of france having fun”

Cheryl looked amazing and relaxed and we loved her new tousled hair style and the fact that she was obviously in the party mood, judging by the empty champagne glass in her hand.

The former X Factor judge also wore bright red lipstick and a strapless white summer dress, which made the moist of her glowing tanned skin.

Cole is thought to have spent the last month working on her third solo album with Will. She has been spotted this week alone having lunch with stars such as Usher and Christina Aguilera and it is thought that the new record will contain lots of big name collaborations, designed to help her launch her music career in America.

It has also been reported that Cheryl has re-recorded a song which Wil.i.am wrote for Cher Lloyd earlier this year. It is claimed that after Simon Cowell dropped his former protegee from The X Factor USA, Will refused to allow his track to be included on Lloyd’s album and offered it to Cole instead.
