Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is said to be negotiating hard on her pay deal for this years X Factor series.

Cheryl is rumoured to be commanding around £1 million for this years series, but no doubt cash strapped ITV is trying to push that figure down as much as possible.

A source told The Sun: “Cheryl knows she is a big hit so she’ll negotiate hard.

“There is talk she could get £1 million, but things are tight at ITV so it’s not a done deal by any stretch.”

Reports suggest that Cheryl will definitely be back for this years series as long as Simon brings back Dannii Minogue. Dannii was rumoured to be close to getting the sack from the ITV talent show.
