Cheryl Cole parties with Girls Aloud pal Nadine Coyle – wows in Pam Hogg jumpsuit at Capital FM Summertime Ball (VIDEO)
Cheryl Cole is reported to have built bridges with her former bandmate Nadine Coyle.
The former X Factor judge was reportedly feuding with her old pal, after Girls Aloud took a hiatus in 2010 and the Northern Irish beauty took up residence in LA.
Insiders say that Cheryl reached out to Nadine when she heard she was in London over the weekend, texting the blonde beauty and inviting her to a party at the city’s ‘Rose Club’ where she was celebrating after her showcase at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball.
A source told The Metro that with the Girls Aloud reunion looming in the near future, Cole wanted to extend an olive branch to Coyle and one insider explained:
“Cheryl thought it would be the perfect chance to get Nadine out. They do actually get on and speak. Their diaries have just been out of sync over the years.”
Both women were pictured arriving at the club separately, and it has been claimed that Coyle gave herself a bit of dutch courage, by indulging in a few alcoholic beverages at Brompton Club before meeting Cheryl.
The insider added: “The girls had an amazing night catching up. All of Cheryl’s hot American dancers were out as it was partly her send-off for them before they head back to the States.”
Meanwhile, Cole created headlines when she performed as a surprise guest at this year’s Summertime Ball. She posted a picture of herself in a colourful Pam Hogg created jumpsuit on her Who Say account, just minutes before she took to the stage in Wembley Arena.
She performed her new single ‘Call My Name’ and was rewarded for all her recent promo work last night, when after being released for just 11 hours, the track topped the iTunes chart.
She was chuffed by the news and tweeted:
I CANT BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING.. How can Call My Name be no 1 on itunes and i only put it out at Midnight..
You lot are UNBELIEVABLE..
