Cheryl Cole performs Parachute & Fireflies on Radio 1 Live Lounge (VIDEO)
X Factor judge Cheryl Cole performed on Radio 1′s Live Lounge this morning and gave two stripped down versions of her own single ‘Parachute’ and Owl City’s ‘Fireflies.
The singer later admitted to DJ Fearne Cotton that she had performed while hung over, after enjoying a bit of a session with bandmate Nicola Roberts last night.
“At the time it seemed like a really nice idea and a good idea. I said to Nicola this morning, ‘Cheers for that, you knew I was going to be singing this morning!’” she joked. “Nicola was looking how I felt.”
‘Maybe I shouldn’t have drunk so much last night. So I’m actually feeling a little worse for wear today, but the bronchitis is gone.’
Cheryl also denied reports that BEP singer Will-i-am fancies her and when asked why she decided to cover the Owl City track ‘Fireflies, she said: “I’ve chosen it because I just love the track. It makes me feel funny and it’s something different to what I normally sing.”
We thought it was all a bit shaky but we’d love to hear if you guys enjoyed the songs. Have a listen and as always leave your comments below.
