X Factor judge, Cheryl Cole, has admitted in her new autobiography that she was planning to start a family before her marriage was almost destroyed by her husband’s Ashley’s affair.

In her book ‘Dreams That Glitter’ Cheryl revealed:

“I was really broody, to the point where I’d see children and think that’s me, I’m ready,” she wrote. “It was all I was thinking about. All that was going through my head and I was thinking, do I start trying for a family after the tour and fit in around Girls Aloud?”

Cheryl added that she hasn’t given up on babies yet and is still planning her family.

“These days there’s no reason why you can’t have a family and a career,” she explained. “I’m from a big family and I want a big family and that means I have to make a start soon – so watch this space.”
