Cheryl Cole has revealed that she shuns daily visits from her beautician and instead continues to pluck her own eyebrows into shape.

The X Factor judge said that she wouldn’t like anyone else touching her eyebrows but admitted that her over eager tendencies have led to a few disasters in the past.

‘I couldn’t think of anything worse than someone else plucking my eyebrows,’ Cheryl told Company.

‘I ask make-up people what shape they should be… and always pluck them when I come out of a hot bath or shower.’

‘I had a disaster last year, ‘ she laughed

‘I tried to pluck them like Marilyn Monroe’s. I saw a programme on her and was like, “She’s amazing! I want her eyebrows.” But I went too far.

‘Everyone was asking if I’d had Botox.’
