Cheryl Cole has reportedly signed an American record deal, which will see her release her solo album 3 Words in the country.

Cheryl’s album shot to number one in the UK this week and is expected to be released through Interscope early next year.

The News Of The World reports that Cole won’t release ‘Fight For This Love’ as her first stateside single but will instead release her collaboration with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, ’3 Words’.

“The Interscope deal is huge for Cheryl, especially as Girls Aloud have never released a single there,” a source told the newspaper.
