Cheryl Cole starts legal action against Now magazine and MC Harvey
Cheryl Cole has shown that she’s not afraid to hit back at those spreading lies about her personal life and has reportedly started legal proceedings against Now magazine.
The former X Factor judge was said to be furious when the publication published an interview with MC Harvey, in which he claimed to have enjoyed a secret relationship with Cole, after she split from her cheating husband back in 2010.
The former So Solid Crew star said that they enjoyed a clandestine affair, while the world’s media were convinced that she was seeing American dancer Derek Hough, however Cheryl has disputed his claims.
She took to Twitter earlier this week to ask Alesha Dixon’s ex why he was spreading lies about her and he hit back, saying that he would publish supposedly private emails she had sent to him.
Cole obviously isn’t very worried about these alleged messages and The Mirror reports that she is now taking legal action against the star and Now magazine.

However she has since been defended by her Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts, who told her Twitter followers that he must be lying, as Cheryl ‘doesn’t do’ emails.

Not sure who to believe. Harvey is not a saint, but Cheryl is not a saint either. Why is Dannii’s name coming on this article though? Yah, Cheryl did flirt with Cowel and they snogged. Konnie, the one who was presenting Xtra Factor witnessed the incident and it was in the news. Neither Cheryl nor Cowel denied the story. Also, she has had a fling with quite a few players including 50c who was her husband (Ashley)’s friend. Yah, I don’t like Harvey, but people need to stop looking at Cheryl like some innocent girl when she is not! If she had a fling with him, it should be nobody’s business anyway, but she may be worried because Alesha is supposed to be a friend. However, Alesha was not with Harvey at the time, so no issue there. My argument/ view is: Cheryl is not a saint! Why believe her when we don’t know if Harvey has the evidence? Why does it have to be a band mate defending her? Why did her twitter go queit when Harvey said he would give evidence? I don’t hate Cheryl, but it’s when people think she can’t do what other human beings do, that is when you kind of dislike her!
Cheryl snogged Cowell and had a fling with 50 Cent? Got any proof of this? And I love how you say that he was a friend of Trashley’s, the one who persistently screwed around behind his wife’s back (bit like Harvey).
And if I want to bring Dannii’s name into this, I’m quite within my rights – Max King is such a massive fan of hers, my comment was aimed at him/her.
No one has the right to call someone a sl*t and a sl*g and state that they ‘got lucky by sleeping around’,
what Max King said was disgraceful. And this website should be ashamed to allow it to be aired on here, shame on Lisa McGarry, some woman she is.
AND if Harvey does have evidence, why hasn’t he shown it?

So its fine to bad mout Dannii and protect Tweedy? Harvey said he would provide evidence, so what right have you got to say he is lying? If you believe other things said in the media about certain celeb, why can’t you believe what is said about Tweedy? The answer is simple’she is your favourite’, but she is not, has never been and will never be a saint or even a nice person!
Nobodys perfect, but this harveys story seems so fabricated, why Cheryl would start any leagal actions if she lies? I just don´t get it. And where are those “evidences” ? Other magazines did´t print any stories about this, because lack of evidences…
And this guy has history, she sells everything to tabloids for money.
I disagree that she is not nice person, nobodys perfect as i said, but every one that she works with praises how nice and down to earth like person she is.

You need to chill out. Cheryl is not my favourite, neither do I think she’s a saint. I was reacting to the offensive comment (that has now been removed), nothing to do with anything you said. And, like I said in a previous post, I used Dannii as an example because Max King is a big Dannii fan. Nothing I said about Minogue was half as bad as what he said about Cole.
If King is going to spout such nastiness about Cole being a sl*t and a sl*g and how she slept around to get famous, I made the comment about Dannii to see how HE feels about nasty remarks being made about someone HE likes.
Regarding this evidence that Harvey allegedly possesses, where is it then? We’re all still waiting to see these e-mails.
That is an absolutely disgusting thing to say. You call Cole all those names, yet you believe a man who cheated on Alesha, left her, and then cheated on the woman he left her for not long after she had his child!!!
Oh, and the Cowell thing, you must have her mixed up with Dannii Minogue – SHE was the one who flashed her fake cleavage at him week after week. SHE was the one who went out for cosy dinners for two – holding hands in the back of his limo. If anyone flirted their way into getting a job as X Factor judge it was Minogue (she seems to like the men, judging by the amount of relationships she’s had).
By the way Unreality TV, don’t you think you should remove Max King’s disgusting post? Surely you have a duty of care not to allow such libellous content to be posted on your website?
Jealousy or something? Truth is anything linked to Cheryl sells. Cheryl has right to defence herself, and i really like that feisty side of her.
Fox didn´t drop her, it was Cowell, and he has regret that decision, and now Nicole and Paula get axed, perfect..
Critics praised Cheryl in XFUS, people liked her, i´m not surprised if she will be asked to join again XFUS, but i doubt she will.
Correct Alex, have people lost their memory about Nicole Scherzinger getting kicked off the US X Factor? The US audience detested her, and you’re right, they DID prefer Cheryl.
