X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has admitted that she is terrified at the prospect of performing on the show this Sunday.

Producers previously revealed that Cheryl will pre-record her performance and she admitted to Chris Moyles this morning:

“I’m absolutely terrified. The nerves started weeks ago.

“It’s really here and happening on Saturday. I love performing but I’ve sat for weeks judging people and now I’m putting myself out there to be judged.

“And I’m on my own now, I won’t even have my cotton wool anymore.”

She added: “There’s part of us where I can’t wait and I’m excited to get out there and the other half is saying, ‘what are you doing?’”
