Cheryl Cole is rumoured to have impressed show judges so much that they are planning to offer her £1 million to continue as a judge next year. Simon is said to love having Cheryl on the show and plans to offer her the massive pay increase as he heard there may be plans for Girls Aloud to tour America next year.

One source told The Daily Star: “Cheryl has been a brilliant success. Viewers have taken to her straight away.

“She’s been appearing on screen much more than Dannii, who is just not having the same impact as she did last year.”

If Cheryl gets this huge pay deal, it will not go down well with Sharon Osbourne, who reportedly fought for a £500,000 pay increase for this series, before quitting.
