Cheryl Cole is said to be flattered, after Prince Harry made a direct request to meet her, during an X Factor set visit.

The youngest son of Prince Charles and the late Diana Princess of Wales, is reportedly a huge fan of the ITV show and has asked a member of the Cheryl’s management team to get him face time with the judge, as well as a chance to meet some of this year’s finalists.

An insider told The Mirror:

“Harry’s a huge fan of X Factor and watches it week in, week out.

“He fired off a series of missives, requesting time with Cheryl and some tickets to The X Factor. Harry was due to attend a private showcase but had to pull out at the last minute. So a visit to the Fountain Studios in Wembley, where the show is filmed, has been arranged for him instead.”

The source added:

“Cheryl is massively flattered and naturally keen on meeting the Prince. She might not be attracted to him but she thinks he sounds like a really good guy.”
