Cheryl Cole is reportedly being considered for yet another reality TV show.

The former Girls Aloud singer was of course a judge on The X Factor until she was sacked from the US version last year and refused to return to the UK show.

Insiders say that Fox bosses are now regretting their decision to let her go and are considering offering her a whopping £6 million to replace Jennifer Lopez on American Idol next year.

It has been reported that J-Lo is leaving the series to spend more time working on her film and music career and also to dedicate more time to her young children and insiders say Chez is the bosses favourite for the panel.

However, even if Jen doesn’t leave, sources told Metro that Fox may still reach out to Cole and one explained:

‘It will be interesting to see how Jennifer deals with another beautiful woman sitting alongside her,’

Will.i.am has previously claimed that he has big plans for Cheryl, who is about to release her latest solo album and single ‘Call My Name’ next month.

He recently insisted that she will not be returning to any of Simon Cowell’s shows and Cheryl backed his sentiments up by tweeting:

‘X factor was a great experience and time in my life and career but is now part of my past .. Please #letsmoveonnow #newnewspls Zzzzz yawns*.’
