Cheryl Cole To Release Chick Lit Books

Cheryl Cole has reportedly signed a £5 million deal to release her own line of Chick Lit novels.
“At the moment Cheryl can do no wrong. Whatever she touches turns to gold,” an insider told The People. “She was a singing star in Girls Aloud, but after her instant success as a judge on X Factor she’s reached another level.
“Girl fans love her and they will all want to read her books. She’s been offered a deal for four of five romantic novels which could be worth up to £5 million. She hadn’t previously thought of writing, but she’s come around to the idea.”
The newspaper reports that the X Factor judge has been told to write books in the style of Marian Keyes and the novels will apparently centre around women dealing with day to day relationship troubles.

[...] Cheryl Cole is to write a series of ‘chick-lit’ novels… Hmmm, what do I think about that? [...]
“She hasn’t previously thought about writing, but she’s come round to the idea …” Oh, well that’s alright then. Rather annoying news for those budding novelists who’ve been hard at it for years, and will be lucky to get a deal, like, evah!
