X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has reportedly started trying for a baby, with her husband Ashely.

Cheryl has previously admitted that she is keen to have a large family saying:

“I have friends who have put it off and I don’t want to do that,” she said. “I’d love to have a big family.”

Sources have now suggested that Cheryl and Ashley have decided that 2010 is the year that they want to have their first child.

“Ashley was starting to feel a bit isolated at the training ground as his team-mates’ wives were having babies or falling pregnant,” a source close to the couple told new!. “He is over the moon now Cheryl is keen to start trying.

“They are making time for each other and lighting candles and playing soft music. They are very loved-up at the moment.”

“Cheryl was completely drained by the show,” the source added. “She is just concentrating on putting all her energy and love into her family now.

“She and Ashley are so excited about Christmas. They’ve left all the bickering and resentment in the past.”

Cheryl is even prepared to forgo all her glamorous clothes for pregnancy.

The source said, “She has been joking that all her lovely clothes will no longer fit, but she is actually looking forward to this new phase in her life.”
