X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to file for divorce from her cheating husband Ashley Cole.

The football star is rumoured to have slept with at least five other women during his marriage to Cheryl and though the pair separated last month, there has been constant speculation that she will take him back eventually.

However, sources close to the ’3 Words’ singer now say that she is ready to begin divorce proceedings and that these will be made easier by the fact that she doesn’t want any of his money.

A source told The Sunday Mirror:

“Cheryl has turned a corner and is now ready to move on. But she doesn’t want a messy divorce – it must be as quick and as amicable as ­possible.

“She’s not looking to profit and was never with him for his money. She doesn’t want a penny from him.”

“She’s spent weeks now yo-yoing, not knowing whether to take Ahsley back,” said the friend. “But she is ready to get on with her life and realises divorce is the only way forward.”

No doubt this move forward will also help Cheryl in her efforts to launch her career in America. After all, whats holding her here now?
