I caught a bit of the Chris Moyles show in the car this morning. They were chatting about this year’s X-Factor and it’s possible outcomes.

The funniest bit, without once mentioning Steve Brookstein’s name, was when they said “I hope this year they don’t pick some gormless numpty. How about someone the public cares about a week after the show ends?”

I’d be inclined to agree. Tabby or G4 deserved the top spot much more than Steve. Either the voting audience is older than I thought, or Simon Cowell did an A1 job of making Steve’s story strike a chord with the public!
