Gary Barlow will be showing his X Factor contestants – if he has any left – what he’s made of when he performs on the X Factor stage later this month.
The Take That star is on the brink of releasing his first solo album in 14 years and in a bid to promote his new tunes, he’s all set for a live performance of single ‘Let Me Go’ on the November 17th results show.
The song is released on the same day, while his album ‘Since I Saw You Last’ is scheduled to drop on 25 November 2013.
Gary will be up against his old pal and bandmate Robbie Williams, who performs and releases his brand new single the week before.
He told The Daily Star:
“I’m excited, not nervous. Performing is what I love doing so I can’t wait to get on stage.
“Robbie and I haven’t had a bet yet to see who sells more but we still have time to think of something.”
Gaz will be hoping that the effect of the X Factor performance on sales of his track will be as big as the one Little Mix have enjoyed already this morning.
The girls performed their new single ‘Move’ on the ITV show last night and already they’re sitting at the number two spot in the iTunes chart.
The ladies have won high praise from their peers for the song and Union J singer JJ tweeted:
“Wow just caught up with the X factor Loving @LittleMixOffic Performance and the Song Move!!! ”
One Direction star Niall Horan added:
“Good luck @LittleMixOffic on @TheXFactor tonight ! And with your new single! Looking forward to seeing you guys again!”
