Conway Sisters Are Voted Off X Factor….By Cowell
Well, tonight was the night the inevitable happened. The Chipmunks Conway Sisters got axed from tonight’s X Factor.
This wasn’t totally unexpected. Fans have been baying for their blood since the Maria Lawson scandal a couple of weeks ago. The girls were never going to win the X Factor competition. They chose safe and unimpressive songs, didn’t display much by way of personality, and worst of all sounded like they were on helium some of the time.
I’m not knocking the girls. I’m not knocking Irish acts (although I gave Phillip McGee a bit of a beating, too). I actually felt a bit sad for them and their father as I watched the playback of their X Factor ‘best bits’.
But the fact remains, like Nicholas Dorsett last week, they weren’t improving. They weren’t raising their game to win. Look at how much Journey South have improved in the last few weeks. That’s the winning attitude. Those guys went from being middle-of-the-road to being in our Top 2 acts two weeks running.
Anyway, on a final note, I’m pleased that Simon Cowell - as always - was frank and honest with his act and didn’t put the Conways through at Chico’s expense. Will Chico win? I don’t know, stranger things have happened.

I still feel The Conway Sisters were the best act on the X Factor and they were better than reality TV shows! I hate it when some people just slag them off when they know nothing about them.
It’s a shame they didn’t win and could have seen some UK releases from the girls, they were a fab band.
They unfortunately split as a band, but not with fall-outs between them.
I’m happy to say Laura Conway will be releasing some material soon as a solo artist. I beleive in her and she will go all the way to the top in what she does best, that is writing, producing and performing her own music, she’s very talented! And who knows, one day the sisters may all get together again one day as a group.

I THINK SIMON was despicable voting the girls off, I heard him say he had other ideas for them and he did nothing, he lost all respect for him and he’s actually proud of his actions.HE put them into the finals and was the WORST mentor imagineable,they could have done a B’WITCHED or something.The man is a disgrace and has no care for peoples feelings,all he sees are £ signs.He even showed ignorance and disrespect to the 80 year old lady who pulled him up this year.SO FALSE.Rod.Newcastle.
