Danni Minogue As X Factor Judge?
The People reported yesterday, that after proving herself on a recent series of Australia’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell is considering hiring Dannii Minogue as a judge on the next X Factor series.
“Simon thinks she is exactly the kind of person that X Factor needs,” explained a source. “Not only is Dannii young and sexy but she also has first-hand knowledge of the music industry. Simon thinks she is just the breath of fresh air they need.”
The singer, sister of Kylie, recently spoke of her admiration of the show. “The auditions are my favourite - the more they can’t sing, the funnier it is,” she commented. “I know that sounds terrible but we all love a bit of car-crash reality TV.”

It sounds like Danni is going to be to the X-Factor what Paula Abdul is to American Idol.
Let’s hope Danni tries to remain on the same planet as everyone else while she’s judging, or then again maybe not…

Wow, the rumour mill is on fire this week! Danni Minogue, failed pop star, soap star, TV presenter, glamour model….I could go on!
She’d be a great counsellor for those who fail on the show, but I wouldn’t want to be taking her advice too seriously.
Nor is she sexy, by the way. Anything but.

I can’t imagine anything worse than Paula Abdul, Danni Minogue, Sharon Ozbourne and Simon Cowell. The show would be to weak with this combination. The show needs someone else who is not only outspoken but full of recording industry experience. Pete Waterman and Kylie Minogue joining Sharon Ozbourne and Simon Cowell would be a much stronger team. The influences of PETE and KYLIE might do much to raise the standard of judging and mentoring of the contestants.
Lets face it if finding talent is of paramount importance to Simon than cost should be no barrier to getting the right combination of judges and mentors.
