X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has admitted that she was ‘in awe’ of model Twiggy during their recent Marks and Spencer photo shoot.

Minogue jetted off to Cape Town along with Lisa Snowdon, Myleene Klass, VV Brown and Twiggy for her first shoot for the high street chain and told Monsters and Critics:

“I have to say I was in awe of meeting Twiggy!

“I was so nervous when I had my first photo shoot with her – just my own insecurities – but as expected she was adorable and made me feel at ease straight away, what a gorgeous woman. I now love her even more, if that is possible.”

The 5′ 2″ singer also revealed that she was much shorter than her fellow models. She joked:

“It was like being back at school in grade photos: ‘All the smaller kids down the front! Twiggy kindly wore flats and I still rocked a wedge or a high stiletto to try and keep up.”

“Minogue genes are good for lots of travel on aeroplanes, you can snuggle into a seat – but vertically, I always need some help!”
