Dannii Minogue has said that Louis Walsh ‘melted her heart’ when he apologised to her over his behaviour on last year’s X Factor.

The judges had a public spat during last year’s live shows, when they argued about who’s act would get to sing Take That’s ‘Rule The World.’

Minogue told Metro: “Last year was horrible. The thing between Louis and myself got totally blown out of proportion from just a silly little thing.

“But he came to me this year and was so honest and sweet and said it should have never happened. He’s such a genuine sweetheart and he just melted my heart when he said sorry and this year things are a million times better.”

On her supposed feud with Cheryl Cole, she added: “It was made up that I wanted to sit away from Cheryl.

“Cheryl’s absolutely adorable and supportive and was checking on me all last year to see if I was okay. She hates seeing people upset and is so caring and emotional.”
