X Factor judge Simon Cowell had to stop the cameras rolling at bootcamp after Dannii Minogue broke down in floods of tears.

As the four judges whittled the hopefuls down to their final 24, one of the most promising male singers was cut from the group. Dannii Minogue was chosen to give then news causing her and the lad to both end up in floods of tears.

A source told Hot TV: “Dannii felt a real bond with this singer and was heartbroken to be the one to deliver the news.

“She really cares about the people on the show and letting them go is the worst part of her job.

“She started crying and so did the poor lad.

“It all got so much that the cameras were switched off to give them both time to compose themselves.”
