Davina McCall’s new show ‘He’s having a baby’ is being moved to the earlier time of 5.30 next Saturday night so that it no longer has to compete with the X Factor for viewers. After a second week of poor rating figures, with Davinas show only getting 1.8 million viewers in comparison with the X Factors 7.2 million, the BBC have conceded defeat and changed slots in a bid to save face.

However the Beeb have no plans to axe the show, a spokesman said “The show is different and imaginative, so we have decided to move it so it doesn’t come up against ‘X Factor’. We believe many ‘X Factor’ viewers would want to watch our show as well,”
