I’m just wondering if you think there’s any relation between the following pieces of information:

1. On Saturday night, Louis Walsh refuses to save the better girl group, Bad Lashes, allowing the public to make the final call between two of his groups.
2. Later claims that Louis excused himself by saying that he wasn’t as strong with female acts as he was with boybands.
3. The news that he and Kian Egan were auditioning for a new girl group as a showcase for Kian’s girlfriend Jodi Albert during the summer?

If you’re having trouble processing all of the above, can I suggest that a girl band achieving fame on X Factor might dwarf Louis’ ambitions to launch his own girl group.
