Derek Hough’s dad has insisted that his son is nothing like serial cheater Ashley Cole. Hough was recently seen consoling Cheryl Cole in LA as she struggled with her marriage breakdown. He joined her on a trip to the movies and was seen leaving her hotel room at 4am.

Speaking to The Mirror about Derek, the dancer’s dad Bruce commented: “My boy treats girls right.”

He continued: “It’s terrible how some stars carry on. Look at Tiger Woods. These guys do not know how to behave.

“Derek is a responsible guy. He’s enjoyed spending time with Cheryl. It’s clear they get on really great.”
