Did Eton Road And Ray Quinn Cheat Their Way To The X Factor Final?
The News Of The World have today released video footage that would imply that both Eton Road and Ray Quinn cheated their way onto the X Factor stage.
The News Of The World reports:
Our sensational shots show the boys auditioning for a showbiz agency in Liverpool just weeks before they appeared on the ITV1 show.
The footage confirms BOTH acts were put together by professional management and entered into the talent hunt in a cynical attempt to fast-track them to stardom.
The tape, in possession of the News of the World, also reveals that scouts experimented with including Ray as a member of the band before choosing to enter him as a solo artist.
X Factor rules strictly forbid contestants to have any management. Last month boyband Avenue were kicked off after it was discovered that they were put together by an agent.
But judging by these shocking pictures Ray, 18, and Eton Road are every bit as GUILTY.
The video does seem convincing, and if the story is true what does this mean for ray and Eton Road. Is it too late for them to be disqualified or will mentors Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh be able to turn a blind eye…..

Hmmm, could this be just another PR stunt between NOTW and X-factor? and that the video footage was indeed shot fairly recently, to get even more people talking about the show? i.e News Of The World get a story, and the boys and the show get a bit of free exposure?
How would anyone REALLY know?
I’m NOT saying that this is the case, just that the thought initially popped into my mind
I think if both of the acts mentioned above HAVE in fact been put together by pro management in the way the NOTW implies they have.. then IMO, surely they SHOULD be disqualified from the competition?
Though, from reading the reply/comment from the X-Factor on the NOTW site, it looks like their bums are pretty much covered, and haven’t broken any of the actual rules of the show. Still, not sure the general public enjoys being not told the truth upfront.
Otherwise,i think they may as well just video one the many showcases put togther by many of the major agents around, or by one the big record companies, and show that on TV instead
hmmm, maybe that’s what we are actually watching lol.

I saw the video, and can confirm the two voices in the video were record company people. They were Max & Roseann who did totally boyband from Concept music. From what i heard, they were looking for a new boy band and the video was of 20 boys. Eton Road decided to continue and form their own band. based on the great audition they did. the record company have sold the video as they are bitter as the boys wouldn’t sign to them.
i think this shows how bad the record company are- they have ruined Upper Streets (MTV Boyband show) career and now want to ruin Eton Road…
I say expose them- they have done wrong!

I thinj the NEWS OF THE WORLD should report NEWS not trash, the lads NEVER signed for anyone, for goodness sake acts previously rejected from X FACTOR still try to make their way THEN re audition again for X factor. IT WAS a totally different set up than with AVENUE, Of course ETON ROAD and Ray are entitled to be in Xfactor and X FACTOR should have made clear from the outset that no problems exist to prevent that.Furthermore ALL this nonsense should be sorted out BEFORE or at the latest in audition stage.Ther is plenty time to get FULL fact from application and auditioning to going to boot camp to sort these issues and check.I find it amazing people still even can take seriously anything the NEWS OF THE WORLD SAYS. I think eton road and ray are the best acts on the x factor and eton road deserve to win. Danny is gorgeous, anthony james and david are amazing and the lads are doin really well. I hope that eton road get to the final. I would love to meet you guys you’s are amazing and you warm my heart when you sing. Anthony is doin realy well. I will never believe that there was anything wrong with these 2 acts getting on x factor, anyway the producers have ample time to sort all that out long before the finals weeks, remember RAY with all those forms to fill in, HOWEVER Im not convinced following BENS revelations in midweek in the press that its bwyond ‘manufacturing’ who wins, the news was out and BEN admitted a bit but backtracked a bit AFTER talking to SIMON AND RESEARCH TEAM OF THE SHOW. I tried to vote almost continously last night for Eton Road but I couldn’t get through. Does this mean that the voting is rigged too? Neither Ben nor Eton Road deserved to be in the bottom two last night. Surely Leona and Ben should be in the final as they are probably the two most talented people on the show. We’ll have to see if the last three acts left are one from each judge won’t we?!

Does anyone over the age of 10 ever read or contribute to this site??? Maybe if we set an age limit, and even an IQ limit(perhaps being able to spell could be a must?) we would get some comments from people who know good music and talent when they see and hear it. You know the sort of thing, someone who has been listening to music for longer than 6 months, other than the obligatory nursery rhymes of course. Susietuesday seems to have more than one brain cell, she can spell too, however I have to question her taste if she favours Eton Road over Ben, but that is after all a matter of personal preference.

PAM I CAN SPELL just to answer that point so rudely put by you, some people maybe younger ones use a bit of txt spelling when they contribute to these pages, I do however when in a hurry miss a letter or type in the one next to what I should use, I cannot then be bothered to correct things and once its submitted cannot anyway, IQ, indeed intelligence isn’t needed to have an opinion OR the right to express one, we only need to be Human with thoughts and feelings, WE are hardly writing to BUCKINGHAM PALACE and it would appear despite the errors or even any bad spelling everyone else manages to understand every one very well with no need for any snobbery attached.I actually would question your taste in music since BEN has me wondering if he’s about to be sick sometimes, he has made some great performances too as have ETON ROAD, ALL this is personal opinion, because yours and mine would differ neither makes one or the other right but one thing is totally right and that is to be able to express it freely in any given outlet as,when and more importantly HOW we can and wish to. hello there everyone!
no ray and eton rd did not chea their way into the x factor final. ray would never do such a thing. i love him with every peice of my body. But people have critizized me for loving him so such but i just thought of ray and defended him. so i think he would never do such a thing. im going to his concert on the 20th of september in cardiff! and that is going to be the best day of my life. that’s how much i love him. i’m on 12 years old but i just love him. and i will never stop loving him. I LOVE YOU RAY QUINN!!!!!
