Caroline Flack and Harry Styles announced their split last week and claimed that it was a mutual decision to go their separate ways, but it seems there may have been more to the story.

Insiders have claimed that the management team behind Harry’s band One Direction practically forced them to break up, because they believed the relationship was bad for his image, especially as he and the boyband were about to embark on their first ever American tour.

It was said by some sources that the pair were ‘drifting apart,’ however a friend of the couple has told Now magazine that nothing could be further from the truth.

They claim that Harry’s management and even record label boss Simon Cowell engineered the whole thing and explained;

‘They were introduced via his people, but they weren’t happy when the romance took off. I’m told it went as far as Simon Cowell.’

It has also been reported today that the pair are already planning their reconciliation and insiders say that as Caroline will be missing Harry’s 18th birthday tomorrow, she is booking a quiet and romantic break for them in Cornwall for his return.
