Dionne Bromfield: ‘I would never go on X Factor’

Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter Dionne Bromfield made her TV debut on last week’s Strictly Come Dancing but has insisted that she would never enter ITV’s X Factor.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Bromfield explained: “I like watching The X Factor, but I would never go on it – I think it’s too much of a controlled thing.
“I don’t want to be harsh, but you’d feel you’d got success in your hand, but once you’ve gone, you’ve gone. At the end of the day, it’s entertainment. They give people hope, but when I was watching the auditions and people were crying, it’s not nice – not nice at all.”
On the X Factor judges Dionne added: “I met Simon and he was a nice fella, but I don’t know what it would be like to sing for him. He knows his stuff.
“I love Cheryl. She’s amazingly beautiful and I like her solo single ‘Fight For This Love’.”
