“Don’t End Up Like Charlotte Church” Warns Simon Cowell!

Simon Cowell revealed that they were considering dropping the age limit on The X Factor show, but didn’t want to end up with a load of Charlotte Church’s.

Cowell, 47, said: “I’m beginning to think whether we should be dropping the age now. But I don’t want six Charlotte Churches. I don’t want them on chat shows swearing at the age of 20 in a few years’ time.

“I can’t bear all that. In fact, I’m almost thinking about sending each of this year’s contestants a poster of Charlotte Church with a big cross on it - ‘Don’t go there!’”

The music mogul has also blasted Church for abandoning her pop career to present a Channel 4 chat show.

Cowell, famously dubbed ‘Mr Nasty’ because of his cruel jibes, insists the ‘Crazy Chick’ singer has wasted her talent.

She said: “This was a girl who could have been a massive operatic star for the next few years, because she’s really talented.

“To me, it appears as if she’s thrown it all away for this different career.

Simon I think is wrong here, Charlotte would never have been a massive operatic singing star, as it is Charlotte was very lucky to have a pushy mum and an agent come manager in the form of Jahnathan Shallit who both worked towards getting the best deal for her. You have to remember no child singing artists had been coming through the mainstream for a good few years since Aled Jones.

The reality of this situation is that there were better sopranos in choirs throughout Britain at the time but without the backing the push and the direction, they would have had no hope in going somewhere with there singing talent.

Success for some has come through who they know.

Charlotte since these days has shunned what little training she has had for a pop career and a comedy host of Channel four chat show. She has done extremely well and has been blessed with luck certainly in her middle age years and her old age she won’t need to worry about the state of her finances the way the majority of regional musicians will as they plod on year after year.

A little bit concerned about the news about Itv Pulling out all the shows that ask the consumer to pay! Does this mean that those who got through to the next round of !Britains got Talen”t won’t be appearing now and will the “X factor” survive?
    Anyone know?
