You have to remember no child singing artists had been coming through the mainstream for a good few years since Aled Jones. The reality of this situation is that there were better sopranos in choirs throughout Britain at the time but without the backing the push and the direction, they would have had no hope in going somewhere with there singing talent. Success for some has come through who they know. Charlotte since these days has shunned what little training she has had for a pop career and a comedy host of Channel four chat show. She has done extremely well and has been blessed with luck certainly in her middle age years and her old age she won't need to worry about the state of her finances the way the majority of regional musicians will as they plod on year after year.
