Eoghan Quigg has revealed that he is “not sad” that the X Factor tour is finished and hopes he will now have some more time to work on his song writing skills.
The teenager told The Daily Star: “I’m not sad it’s finished.
“I write songs whenever I’m bored but the show didn’t inspire me to write anything.”
He probably could have done with the inspiration given that his debut album, due for release next week, is full of cheesy covers and one original song which you can hear here. He told the newspaper: “If it sells well then I’ll probably do a second album and I’ll co-write it all.
“There are a few songs that I’ve written already but nothing special yet. I’m coming up with new stuff every day.”

He needs to remember that X-Factor has given him his chance
and not start getting too big for his boots.I doubt if he will be allowed to bring out an album of his own songs this early in his career and going on what I have heard from his album I think he should concentrate on promoting it as it is not that good, I liked him but I’m disappointed.
